Fall Fest: Durham's Community Yard Sale

Each year it feels as though Durham's annual "Fall Fest" shrinks a little more. Luckily, the folks at the Community Church of Durham are still going strong! On Saturday, September 7th swing into town between 9 am and 2 pm and visit the Community Church at 17 Main Street.

You can grab lunch; there will be hot dogs and hamburgers for sale in the parking lot. You can pick up some fresh, local vegetables and flowers. You can get your knives sharpened (for real!) and shop the selection of furniture. If you're still hungry, you can peruse the homemade jams and baked goods. Whatever you do, don't skip the Echo Thrift Shop!

In the shop, which is located on the lowest level of the Church, you will find tons of new arrivals for fall. Light jackets and sweaters, long-sleeved shirts, and plenty of dresses to help ease the transition from summer to fall. You'll be getting a first peak at the fall goods!

Upstairs in the Fellowship Hall is where the real action will happen! The large room on the ground floor of the building will be packed with everything leftover from summer and this means BIG savings! All sleeveless tops, summer dresses, shorts, and capri pants will be $1 each, and after noon everything in Fellowship Hall will be stuff-a-bag for $3!

Don't miss this HUGE once-per-year sale! Swing by the Community Church of Durham at 17 Main Street between 9 am and 2 pm on Saturday, September 7th! RSVP on Facebook and find more info here.
